It looks as if shows are starting to pick up for ElectroChronic. Crunkcore’s original BrokeNCYDE will be passing through Utah on their most recent tour. ElectroChronic was asked to join the party, and because this happens to be an all-ages show, I’m extending the invite to all of you. The rest of the lineup includes touring support from Vampires Everywhere, It Boys, and Klassik.

Try to maintain your excitement when I say, this show will be historical. I know you’ve been anxiously waiting for a real live rap show to make its way to Salt Lake. And I know you’ve been wondering why ElectroChronic ain’t been droppin’ no beats. But here’s your chance, so put your wonders away. Prepare yourself for my FIRST RAP SHOW EVER, because it’s about to go down.

If you’re unfamiliar with my lifestyle and diverse love for music, you may be unaware of my rap project. I don’t blame you. It’s been on the back burner for a while. It was never intended to be more than a personal challenge, and playing shows didn’t quite fit the schedule. But things change, and my unavailable rap group became my own personal rap project, ElectroChronic. You can listen to a couple tracks here. As for the show’s main talent, the lineup also includes Bobby Brackins, YG, and Ty Money.

Here is a preview of the song we’ve been working on, entitled “Witty Remarks”. We will release the complete, mastered version eventually. Keep in mind, this is a live recording, made with the sole purpose of distracting you during the attempt to get back on track. Thank you for being patient, and keep checking back for updates.

Just when you thought we were done with the whole ‘profile’ ordeal, this one came right outta left field. Yes, I’m pretty sure NextBigThingTour is just a show contact but who knows when Lil Wayne is gonna bounce into town for a last-minute, exclusive ‘getting crunk’ party, looking for some gangster-afied rappers from Orem to open for him and thousands of screaming fans at the Energy Solutions Arena. As you know, we won’t be playing a huge number of shows, but it’s good to know who would like us to come to their home town. Who knows, we may end up touring if we get enough demand (shrug). We’ll see what happens. Demand us in your city!

If you know me, you know that I’m all about music. I love writing, and I tend to spread myself across all genres and start new projects all the time. If you haven’t heard of ElectroChronic, it was an electronic rap group that me and a few buddies started (lasted about 5 minutes). My drummer got arrested and that was the end of that. Since then, I was only planning on taking on two projects at a time, but my buddy Scott showed me some demos that he’s had been working on and here we are once again throwing together some beats. We’re not planning on playing many shows or doing the normal band stuff, but we are working on a CD. We will let you know when we have some tracks done. I’m super excited for this. And I’m sure you will all be surprised with what’s coming…
